Brightness difference on 2 same HP LP2475w

  • Hello,
I've bought a HP LP2475w one year ago. Then I decided to buy a second one two days ago in order to have the same display experience, and to avoid color difference and the like.
But I have the problem that, there is certainly a big difference between the 2 monitors. Strange. The newest monitor is way more bright and backlighted than the other. It's annoying, especially when I have a black screen, where we clearly see a strong and disappointing backlighting resulting in "ghost" or "grey look. The first one has nice black levels and doesn't have this "ghost" effect. I think it's called backlight bleeding (sorry for my english, I'm french)

There are also difference in colors, the newer monitor is much cooler.

Even lowering brightness to 0 doesn't remove this "backlight bleeding" effect completely.
Playing with color settings and the newest monitor is still cooler in colors.

Is it normal? Is there a way to remove this backlight bleeding?
And will a color calibrator such as the xrite i1 display (that I ordered) solve this issue?

    Thank you for answering
