Advertisement The configuration of the Matrox TripleHead2Go Digital functions without any problems thanks to the comprehensive, easy to use PowerDesk-SE software and it is like child’s play – as the advertisement promises. The Matrox TripleHead2Go Digital can be run in dual mode with two LCD monitors and in triple mode with three monitors. Since most graphics cards can be connected to two monitors, we will concentrate on the use of three monitors in our test. The maximum resolution possible is 3.840 x 1.200 pixels. If you want to divide the resolution amongst three monitors, then, three times 1.280 x 1.200 pixels would be possible. However, since there is no LCD monitor with this resolution, the logical solution is three LCDs with a native resolution of 1.280 x 1.024 pixels. Monitors with this resolution can be found in the 17- and 19-inch LCD classes.
The optimum combination in triple mode is three 17- or 19-inch LCDs with the smallest possible frames (Click for enlarged view) Table of contents: Introduction Advertising
