REVIEW: Matrox TripleHead2Go Digital Part 6
Desktop at 3.840 x 1.024 pixels (Click for enlarged view) A desktop across three monitors with a resolution of 3.840 x 1.024 is already very impressive. For example, 19-inch LCDs have a pixel size of 0,294 mm and a native resolution of 1.280 x 1.024 pixels. The display surface is therefore 37,7 x 30,1 cm. If three 19-inch monitors are placed side by side, a pure display surface of 112,8 x 30,1cm is created. This is an extraordinary panorama.

Advertisement The Matrox TripleHead2Go Digital solution provides a desktop with a huge amount of space. A certain period of time is needed to get used to it at the start, but you get used to the huge space within a short time. Any amount of different windows and applications can be distributed across the generous display surface. The result is a completely new feeling when you are working – and a completely new way of working.
Ample room for windows and applications (Click for enlarged view) With the Matrox TripleHead2Go Surround Gaming Utility, a large number of games can be adjusted to the high resolution. After being started, the Gaming Utility looks for games installed and enters these games into the overview list with a tick. If you wish, the program can adjust or optimise conditions for these games.
Matrox TripleHead2Go Surround Gaming Utility (Click for enlarged view) Above all for old games, which often have no widescreen resolution, this is a useful aid. For newer games such as Half-Life 2 or for modifications that are based on the HL² engine, no adjustment is necessary, since the HL² engine is very flexible when it comes to resolutions.
