REVIEW: NEC SpectraView Reference 21 Part 2

The CD contains the monitor drivers for Windows, a detailed multilingual manual in PDF format, and the Adobe Reader software. The setup instructions and the detailed PDF manual are available in several languages. A detailed printed manual is not supplied. The scope of supply of the NEC SpectraView Reference 21 can be regarded as complete.

The package includes two power cables. One power cable with the so called "SchuKo"-plug common in European regions, and a second power cable featuring the type of plug used in the USA etc.

Design and mechanics

The NEC SpectraView Reference 21 is all black; its design is down-to-earth and follows functional aspects. Just by its looks, one can already sense that this is meant to be a work tool, with no unnecessary design fuss needed.

On the left, right, and top, the width of the bezel measures 1.9 cm. The lower part of the bezel is 2.3 cm in width; this is also where the control buttons, which are round and silver labeled, are located.
