REVIEW: Samsung 226BW Part 2
The scope of supply of the Samsung 226BW is complete: Samsung even thought of a cloth for cleaning fingerprints off the easily marked frame. Attaching the base, routing the cables and adding the cover is child’s play thanks to the excellent illustrations: The LCD should be placed on a soft underlay. Then, the base can be hooked into the monitor arm...
... and screwed on tightly with the fastening screws on the underside. No screwdriver is necessary – perfect! For those seeking an LCD monitor with an attractive design, the Samsung 226BW is the right choice. The front part of the cover and the outer edge of the base have a fine piano lacquer finish.
Advertisement The monitor is completely black in colour apart from the silver bar set into the cover underneath the Samsung logo.
The silver bar emphasises the black piano-lacquer finish. To the left of the power switch, the button labelling can be seen engraved into the silver bar. The five buttons of the Samsung 226BW are located directly underneath the labelling – so on the underside of the monitor.
