MagicColor
The MagicColor function checks the user-defined brightness and contrast settings and contrast settings and adjusts the gamma curve accordingly. The user can choose from the following options: Off, Demo, Complete and Intelligent.

In Demo mode, the screen is divided and the "before" and "after" results are displayed. The Complete and Intelligent modes differ only in the way in which the gamma is adjusted and the results for each are slightly different. It is simply a matter of taste for the user.

Colour Temperature
Here, the colour temperature can be chosen from three default settings. Alternatively, a user-defined setting can be selected. If this latter is chosen, the individual colour values can be adjusted manually in the "Colour adjust" menu.

Unfortunately, the exact degree in Kelvin is not displayed for the default modes. The monitor is set to "Normal" as default. The colour temperature settings are not accessible when MagicColor is activated.

Colour adjust
This option is used for adjusting the red, green and blue colour channels as desired. All values are at 50 for the factory settings.

Gamma
The Samsung 226BW features three preset gamma modes. Mode 1 is preset and has a rough value of 2.2. Mode 2 is darker, Mode 3 brighter.
