Film scenes with background light, fog or dark passages are displayed very well but not perfectly: The TN panel demonstrates slight weaknesses here, which are probable due to its middling grey-level resolution.

Because of its moderate viewing angle stability, the VX2255wmb is less suitable for use in viewing films with a group pf people. Overall, we rate its performance in the area of DVD and video as good.

Conclusion

The ViewSonic VX2255wmb is a well-rounded 22-inch monitor and also features height adjustment unlike many of its counterparts, which greatly improves its ergonomic aspect. Additional features such as the webcam, the concealed speakers and the headphone connection are a bonus for gamers on particular.
