REVIEW: Asus VW223B Part 6Image set-up:
In Standard mode, the menu options ASCR, Sharpness, Saturation and Skin tone are not available. However, the RGB values can be adjusted under User. In the pre-defined modes, ASCR, Sharpness, Saturation and Skin tone can be changed, but not the RGB values. We cannot understand the logic of this limitation of the functions in Standard mode.
Advertisement Colour:
The Skin Tone menu option is not available in Standard mode. Colour temperature can be set to: Cool, Normal, Warm, sRGB and User. It is only possible to change the RGB values yourself under User. As standard, the RGB values are set at 100 percent. Input selection:
This option offers a choice between VGA and USB usage where both connection options are used for a monitor. System settings:
In the System settings, the user can change the position and display duration of the OSD, set the language and view the fundamental monitor resolutions. There is no display of the hours of use or serial number. There Is also a function for restoring the factory settings. Under "Kontrolle" (control) in the German menu, you can find the interpolation settings (full screen or 4:3). Here, the manufacturer seems to have made a mistake in translation. Overall, the OSD is well-structured and can be navigated in a small number of clicks.
