REVIEW: Herakles HT-181 TV![]()
++ very good, + good, +/- satisfactory, - bad, -- very bad Our review covers an 18 inch monitor with integrated cable tuner, which can both be used as a monitor for work and as a TV.
Advertisement All results issued in this review have been established by using a Gainward 750 Geforce4 Titanium graphics card. The monitor is connected to the graphics card by means of the analog input. This device has no digital input. The package the Herakles HT-81 TV was in also contained a manual, a remote control, a power supply unit, a TV tuner, a D-Sub VGA cable, an audio cable, a wall holder an a driver disk. The sample we got came with no batteries. On the top of the manual it says "(*1)" behind each of the items that are listed as accessory. Merely at the batteries have it says "(*2)" behind it. However, what this addition means is not explained. In the manual they also mention another manual with the driver disk. But the only thing that can be found on the disk is the driver for the HT-181 TV and for the HT-171 TV. The fact that there is no information about compliances like ISO, TCO or CE given in the manual is also quite surprising. The connecting of the monitor and the installation of the TV tuner is very easy and can be carried out quickly.
The included manual is certainly turns out to be clearly too concise. Less technically advanced people might have their trouble with operating the OSD by all means.
