REVIEW: Hyundai L70D+
++ very good, + good, +/- satisfactory, - bad, -- very bad
Presently, LCD manufacturers are in severe competition with each other, constantly trying to top each other with even faster response times. At large, it's rather hard for end users to look behind the curtain and distinguish facts from PR tricks. While response times generally have been specified for switches of black/ white, they are increasingly being replaced by grey-to-grey. These differ in parts significantly from b/w rise/ fall times and thereby, a direct comparability becomes harder and harder. Currently the fastest LCDs offer a performance of 8 ms in response time according to the manufacturers.
In our present review we want to have a closer look a t the 17 inch Hyundai L70D+ with a specified response time of 12 ms. All results issued in this review have been established on the digital input. The analog input served the sole purpose of testing the picture stability and the automatic picture adjustment of this model.
The Hyundai L70D+ from the front and from the back. The monitor has no cable duct on the rear side.
Next to the display, the package contained a pedestal, an audio cable, an analog and a digital cable, CD with drivers and manual, a paper with quick instructions and a power cable for the internal power supply unit.
