Conclusion

A lot of users want to have displays offering higher resolutions comparable to the displays of notebooks. In principle the AQ5311DT-BK is indeed a good choice. However price and hardware requirements of graphics card and PC are enormous. For this reason the monitor will surely remain reserved to professionals only.

This monitor manages to convince us thoroughly and does – despite relatively high response time - not hold any shortcomings. Be it DVD playback or gaming, the picture quality is great.

In particular users from the field of CAD/CAM or DTP will obtain an outstanding monitor.

Solely the excessively loud fan noise annoyingly distracts from the working process. This circumstance results in depreciation to "good" only. At this point Iiyama really ought to touch things up. Such a high leveled soundscape is inappropriate, especially in everyday work.
