Introduction

Gamers have been eagerly awaiting gaming suitable 19 inch LCDs for months.After S-IPS technology managed to make an outstanding impression in leagues of other panel sizes, everybody is anxious about how 19 inch displays will perform in this respect.

Along with the Fujitsu Siemens P19-1A, we'll also be reviewing the Iiyama ProLite E481S. Despite the fact that both models will be judged in separate reviews, we are still going to compare the two of them directly. Unfortunately the NEC/Mitsubishi 1960NXi wasn't able to arrive for this shootout in time. All models incorporate the identical LG-crafted panel, thus basically only differ by features and design.

All results issued in this review have been established by using the digital input. Merely the analog image quality has been tested with an analog connector. All reviews have been carried out utilizing a Gainward 750 XP Geforce4 Titanium graphics card.

Scope of supply

Items contained in the package together with the display are as follows: quick instructions, one D-Sub cable, one power cable, one audio cable and drivers and a PDF-manual on a CD. Unfortunately there is no is no DVI-D cable included.
