REVIEW: ViewSonic VP211b
++ very good, + good, +/- satisfactory, - bad, -- very bad
After already reviewing the VP201s we now want to make Viewsonic's range of products complete and attend to the VP211b. The main difference to the one inch smaller VP201s is the use of a different panel technology. While the inner workings of the Viewsonic VP201s are composed of an IPS-panel, the Viewsonic VP211b incorporates a MVA panel. In regard to purely exterior looks the b variant only differs to s variant in a black instead of a silver frame. Smaller panel sizes have a s as well as a b variant. The Viewsonic VP211b however is available in black only.
All results issued in this review have been established by using the digital input, with the exception of the test runs for analog image quality, which have been established on the analog input. Our test bed ran with a Gainward 750 Geforce4 Titanium graphics card.
The Viewsonic VP211b comes with a start guide, power cable, D-Sub VGA cable, DVI-D cable (18+1), USB cable and a CD containing a manual, drivers and pivoting software.
