I want an LCD monitor without pixel errors. What do I have to look for?
All monitors are offered with the specification ISO 13406-2 and pixel error class 2. For this reason, pixel errors have to be tolerated by the user as long as they don't exceed what the specification states. Some pixel error class 1 devices are offered by the company CTX. But this is very rare.

A very well illustrated demonstration on the issue of pixel errors can be found at NEC/ Mitsubishi's website. It also explains which kind of pixel errors can occur.
If you would like to have a device without any pixel errors, you can check it directly at your retail store. For an extra charge, some dealers also offer pre-checked devices without any pixel error.
But it should be pointed out that some pixel errors are just way below the threshold of perception during normal work and therefore should not be overestimated.
