There are currently three different methods for improving the viewing angle properties of LCD monitors available:
TN + Film = normal (twisted, nematic) TFT + retardation film (+ Multi-Domain) IPS (In Plane Switching) and S-IPS VA (vertical alignment) + Multi-Domain MVA/ PVA Advertisement The table below depicts a comparison of the three methods in the face of different purposes. This comparison is based on the respective technology only and does not represent a comparison of display products utilizing the different technologies.  |
