| AMVA |
AMVA (Advanced Multi-domain Vertical Alignment) is an enhanced MVA variant developed by AU Optronics Corperation (AUO). According to manufacturer AUO, the enhancement of the MVA technology offers colours that do look washed out, even higher contrast values (5,000:1) and an S-PVA-typical viewing angle of 178° in both the vertical and the horizontal.
