Two new apps for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch allow for comfortable remote control of network projectors from NEC. The NEC Virtual Remote Tool app is identical to the PC version and can control all projectors with network connection. Its functionality includes powering on and off, selecting input signals, as well as picture and sound settings.
The NEC Wireless Image Utility app is used for wireless image transfer to NEC models of the PA and PX series. Images or PDF files can be sent directly from your iPhone or iPad send to the projector.

According to Gerd Kaiser, Product Line Manager Large Venue Projectors at NEC Display Solutions Europe, the Apps document NEC's claim to provide customers with flexible and easy-to-use products. "With a quick download, presenters will get entirely new possibilities to control their projector easily and display content at any time. They do not need a remote control, nor do they have to worry about complicated content-transfer."
