Two new apps for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch allow for comfortable remote control of network projectors from NEC. The NEC Virtual Remote Tool app is identical to the PC version and can control all projectors with network connection. Its functionality includes powering on and off, selecting input signals, as well as picture and sound settings.

According to Gerd Kaiser, Product Line Manager Large Venue Projectors at NEC Display Solutions Europe, the Apps document NEC's claim to provide customers with flexible and easy-to-use products. "With a quick download, presenters will get entirely new possibilities to control their projector easily and display content at any time. They do not need a remote control, nor do they have to worry about complicated content-transfer."
