At the I/ITSEC conference for simulation and training, Norway's projectiondesign introduces the latest addition to its WQXGA product range. The FL35 is a second generation LED projector boasting a 2,560 x 1,600 pixel resolution. According to the manufacturer, low total cost of ownership and improved brightness value are just some of the units advantages.

Since only little information was released prior to the show, projectiondesign indulges in superlatives a bit, like the FL35 was the LED projector with the world's highest resolution. The projector is based on the successful F35 platform and combines high resolution of 4.1 megapixels with solid-state ReaLED lighting technology in version two.

Due to the LED technology, users should benefit from a consistent picture over time, which means contrast, colour rendition and sharpness are promised to remain persistently high during a typical life of 100,000 hours.
The projector's WQXGA resolution reduces the amount of equipment that is needed to configure simulation systems with a near eye-limiting resolution. Like all projectiondesign units, the FL35 WQXGA also has a three-year warranty along with an renewal option to five years 24/7 service.
