LG will bring a 22-inch W2286L monitor with a white LED backlight to the German market this month. The model, in a stylish design, should convince as a multi-media screen and, in contrast to the current trend, focuses on a 16:10 image format with a resolution of 1,680 x 1,050 pixels. A TN panel with viewing angles of 170° horizontal and 160° vertical (contrast ratio 5:1) is used in the model.


The 22-inch model in high-gloss piano lacquer black has an ultra-slim construction of just 19 mm. The additional features are also worth a look: dynamic contrast 1,000,000:1 (static 1,000:1) and 2 ms response time (GTG). Neither has anything been spared in terms of connectors: the W2286L boasts two HDMI and a DVI-D input, all with HDCP copy protection support and in addition, a D-Sub input and a headphone output.


LG is offering a 36-month guarantee for the model with an on-site service including the backlight. The W2286L is available from June for 269.00.
