Eizo seems to love DisplayPorts, since the Japanese monitor manufacturer has recently announced that it is bringing another monitor with DispayPort to the Japanese market for the equivalent of about 750 Euro in the form of the 24-inch Eizo FlexScan SX2462W.

As well as the DisplayPort, EIZO’s latest monitor also offewrs two DVI inputs. Thanks to its IPS panel with 1920 x 1200 pixels and 98 percent coverage of the Adobe RGB colour space, the FlexScan SX2462W is especially suitable for graphics workers. Internally, the model boasts 16 Bit colour processing instead of 12 Bit LUT. The contrast and brightness ratios are advertised as 850:1 and 270cd/m˛, whilst the response time is a respectable 5 ms.
The moderate power consumption of just 48 watts per hour is also pleasing, as is the integration of a USB hub with two USB ports. Furthermore, the adjustable base allows the screen to be used in vertical and horizontal positions.
