Philips announces new Aurea LCD in 40 inches

In September, Philips intends to bring a new model in its top class Aurea television range to the market. The 40-inch model with the model number 40PFL9904H is equipped with an Ambilight Active Frame: In a transparent frame around the screen, 252 LEDs ensure an ambient light which matches the colours in the image being displayed.

In addition, the new Aurea model will contain Net TV technology which will make specially prepared services available on the television as well as allowing for free surfing on the Internet. The price for the 40PFL9904H will be 4,000.00 Euro.
