With the AccuSync AS191WM in 19-inch format and AccuSync AS221WM in 22-inch widescreen format, NEC Display Solutions is expanding its product range for the corporate beginner sector. The large number of environmentally friendly features complies with NECs "Green Vision" requirements in the best manner. Through technical enhancement of the backlight, both monitors need just two instead of the usual four backlights.


In Eco mode, the displays consume just 18 watts (AS191WM) and 21 watts (AS221WM). A Carbon Savings Meter provides information on how much CO2 has been saved during usage in Eco mode. In addition, power consumption in standby mode is a very low 0.4 watts. As a result, the TCO is reduced to a minimum and a high degree of economy is ensured. Despite the lower power consumption, the monitors achieve brightness of 250 cd/m2 and should thus allow for good viewing comfort in all daily office applications.


The AS191WM and AS221WM are equipped with a DVI-D port and two | 1W multimedia speakers. This aspect allows for more varied applications and increases the attraction of the monitors for users because of the very good price/performance ratio.

The NEC AccuSync AS191WM and AS221WM are available now in black from retailers. The recommended retail prices (including VAT) are 148 Euro (AS191WM) and 176 Euro (AS221WM). The scope of supply includes a power cable, an analogue and a digital signal cable, an audio cable and a user manual. NEC Display Solutions Europe guarantees the models for three years including the backlight.
