In terms of panels, a TN type measuring 23.6 inches and with 16.7 million colours is used; this has a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.
Gamers will take notice of the five millisecond response time indicated (grey to grey), whilst video and TV fans will be more interested in the Full-HD resolution, the 16:9 widescreen format and dynamic contrast ratio of up to 10,000:1. The maximum brightness of 300 cd/m˛ should be sufficient for use in almost all lighting conditions. The digital HDMI input supports the playback of copy-protected media via HDCP.
