Quato presents monitor for soft proofing in control centres and on printing machines

The Proof View series from Quato was developed specially for colour matching directly on the printing machine, the control centre or in stationary standard light cabins. For soft proofing and colour matching on the printing machine and in stationary standard light cabins, the monitors used generally define the level of brightness. Since this is far below the brightness required by ISO3664, the lighting in the surroundings and the standard light cabin must be dimmed. This limits the differentiation of the finest details in particular.

With the new Quato Proof View 700, prints can be compared ideally with the monitor display fort he first time without dimming the light source, since with a maximum luminance of 700 cd/m2, the new Quato-Monitor Proof View 700 meets the requirements of the ISO3664 standard for the P1 (2,000) viewing condition. In addition, the monitor covers a large number of printing colour spaces (ISO Coated v2 /Newspaper / Web offset) completely or almost completely. The IPS Pro LCD panel used in the model offers especially large viewing angles without colour changes and also offers constant brightness. Thanks to the UGRA UDACT certification integrated into the calibration solution, the colour display quality can be checked at any time in a reproducible manner.
