BenQ is presenting its new V series in 16:9 format – the 46.99 cm (18.5 inch) V920 monitor, the 54.61 cm (21,.5 inch) V2220 monitor and the 60.96 cm (24 inch) V2420 monitor. The V920 and V2220 should attract attention with an exterior that is just 15 mm deep, which makes them the slimmest LED monitors in the world.


The V2220 and V2420 convince with their LED display with a native resolution of 1,920 x 1,080p, a high dynamic contrast of 10 million:1 as well as a response time of 5 ms. The V920 with a native resolution of 1,366 x 768 is in no way behind the two larger models in terms of contrast and response time. The new V series is aimed at home and office users, which place particular value on an unusual, slim design as well as the highest technical requirements.


Through its special design, the V series is a true eye-catcher in any workroom or living room. The elegantly formed, round base and the minimal depth of the monitor make the three V models real design and lifestyle models. Thus, BenQ is also justified in saying that an LCD is more than just a work model with regard to the V series. This also convinced the jury of the "International Forum", which selected the three models as winners of the "iF product design awards 2010".

The new LED (Light-Emitting Diode) technology guarantees an excellent three-dimensional image quality that has not been achieved before and at the same time is protective of the environment. The energy-efficient LED lights reduce energy consumption by more than 30 percent. The mercury-free panels also congtribute towards reducing pollution.

The Full HD models are available from April at recommended retail prices of 149.00 Euro for the V920, 269.00 Euro for the V2220 and 339.00 Euro for the V2420 including VAT.
