Introducing the AS231WM, NEC expands its product range for the corporate entry level segment with a 23-inch monitor in 16:9 format. While consequently considering environmental aspects, the largest model of the AccuSync series for standard office applications provides an elegant design and a fair cost-benefit ratio.


The widescreen format of the AS231WM suits natural viewing patterns. An eye-friendly screen diagonal allows application windows to be arranged horizontally, thus making a major contribution to the user's productivity.

Equipped with Rapid Response Technology for a rapid image build-up, response time is at five milliseconds. NEC's innovative Double-Backlight Technology provides a brightness of 250 cd/m², giving excellent viewing comfort at a moderate power consumption of only 25 watt. In eco mode power consumption is reduced to 22 watt. Motivating users to energy saving working, a Carbon Savings Meter calculates the thereby achieved CO2 savings.



Built-in speakers and a headphone jack create optimal conditions for multi media applications such as learning programmes. The link to a PC is optionally established via an analog 15 pin port or with a digital DVI interface, thus supporting the utilization of two signal sources. A VESA mounting offers divers options to install the monitor on the wall in order to make room on the desktop.

The NEC AccuSync AS231WM in black is available in retail stores in May. Recommended retail price (incl. VAT) is at 239.00 Euros. Within the scope of supply are a power cord, one analog as well as one digital signal cable, an audio cable and the user manual. NEC Display Solutions Europe offers three years warranty including backlight.
