With the LED-backlit widescreen monitors e2219Ph and e2436Pa, AOC extends its Professional series with two stylish office all-rounders. High contrast ratios (typical: 1000:1, dynamic: 20.000.000:1) and a brightness of 250 cd/m2 deliver crystal-clear contours and bright colours. To make sure video clips or games in office breaks are fun, the displays provide a fast response time of five milliseconds.

TN panel-related weaknesses, such as the high viewing angle dependency is being compensated by good ergonomics: Highly capable of adapting, the monitors provide an -5 /+20 degree tilt and a swivel function. If height-adjustment is set to the maximum of eleven centimetres, the displays can also be rotated to portrait mode, which is ideal for longer text works.

According to the manufacturer, both monitors consume a maximum of 30 watts. As screen size and LED backlight apparently make no difference in power consumption, the 'low power' mode presumably results in model-specific savings. Natively, the 22-inch model e2219Ph, available from December for 169 Euros, shows images with 1.680 to 1.050 pixels (16:10), but is also able of 5:4 display. The OSD allows users to switch between the signal inputs D-sub, DVI-D and HDMI port.
With the 24-inch model e2436Pa, (available from November, SRP of 189 Euros) AOC waives HDMI. Instead, a USB slot waits for external memory and mobile devices. The justified display of 16:9 and 5:4 sources belongs to the office virtues of the monitor. On demand, the included software Screen+ divides the large WLED display in four to nine separate working areas.
