With the built-in DVB-T/-C tuners, the N230HML promptly changes to TV mode by pressing a button. This includes an option to record broadcasts to hard drives or USB sticks connected to the USB input. In case of an interruption, users will benefit from the time-shift function, with which live programmes can be paused and played back later.

Low power consumption and a dynamic contrast ratio of up to 12,000,000:1are the advantages of LED lighting, otherwise the TN panel has all typical features, such as a fast response time of 5 ms. In addition to two HDMI connections, the Acer N230HML offers analogue video inputs and USB for the connection of common home entertainment devices, as well as for the playback of multimedia files from USB drives.
The features of the TV monitor include five setting options that individually optimize display quality: Gamma correction brightens the picture, progressive scan improves vertical resolution and the 3D comb filter ensures rich colours without flicker. Grain-free and low-noise reproduction is provided through noise reduction, while pull down recovery preserves the quality of the original material. The Acer N230HML is available for 229 Euros.
