With the LH5000 FullHD LCD TV, LG is bringing another television highlight to the market and is promising a perfect image just like what you would see in the cinema. The model combines slim, minimalist design with top image quality. "200Hz TruMotion technology in the LH5000 should ensure completely detailed images in outstanding quality, even in motions which follow each other in quick succession. The Intelligent Sensor also guarantees the perfect picture any time and also reduces power costs on the LH5000 by up to 70 percent", says Nils Seib, Manager for Public Relations at LG Electronics Deutschland GmbH.


With a response time of two milliseconds and integrated 200Hz TruMotion technology, which ensures a high refresh rate, absolutely sharp, natural and fluid moving pictures should be guaranteed — even for dynamic sports reports or fast-paced action scenes. Another advantage of 200Hz technology: the eyes do not tire as quickly.

The LG LH5000 also has something to offer gamers: even in very fast games, the LG High Speed TV keeps up and the model is compatible with almost all conventional devices. Furthermore, the LH5000 has a large number of connectors such as USB 2.0 with DivX HD playback and four HDMI connectors (1.3) with HDCP for the fully digital transfer of audio and video signals. As well as DivX HD, MPEG, MP3 and JPEG, the LG LH5000 also plays back MKV formats. The model also has a slideshow mode with which images can be viewed and also deleted directly on the screen.


However, the LH5000 is not only flexible and versatile, but is also a user-friendly individualist: Personal settings on the model can be adjusted with ease. Thus, for example, the three pre-defined modes for Cinema, Sport and Games can simply be selected at the touch of a button.

The invisibly integrated LG sound system should offer full sound on the LH5000. This uses the frame of the model to transmit sound waves in the room. This not only convinces in terms of design, but also in terms of sound quality. Clear Voice II technology regulates the relationship between the human voice and background sounds. Here, LG has co-operated with sound specialist Mr. Mark Levinson, who is known worldwide.
