The largest LCD TV contract manufacturer by far is Chinese company TPV, which benefitted from the sale of Philips production and is now also Number One amongst monitor suppliers worldwide. It is followed by Vestel, AmTRAN, Wistron and Compal. Even Grundig is included, with 4.9 percent.

American brand Vizio has outsourced its complete production. The OEM share of Philips is 62 percent and that of Toshiba is 37 percent. However, TPV is not only the largest OEM manufacturer of TV sets, but is also the largest for LCD monitors. Thus, the Chinese company produces its own brands Envision and AOC.
