Toshiba's new LED TVs of the SL733 series are Europe’s first models being compatible to Windows 7. Additionally to that, all of the three new televisions are DLNA certified. Due to the built-in energy-efficient edge-type LED technology construction is flat thus allowing a slim-edge, elegant design.
The power for a large number of image enhancing, comfort-building functions, such as Resolution+, AutoView und Active Vision M100 HD (100Hz), the latter enhancing fast moving pictures, comes from Toshiba’s MetaBrain processor. The new models of the SL series will be available in April.
The use of edge LED technology for backlighting the LCD panel makes the sets extremely flat in construction, giving them light elegance at the same time. The glossy black air lagoon design of the new models emphasizes the very same impression with transparent elements making the edges of the housing seemingly disappear.
The models of the SL733 series offer a large number of connections as well as several ways of synchronizing, allowing users to access movies or multimedia files which are stored on multiple network attached storages. The SL733 series also provides tow of the most popular and most frequently used connectivity options: SD card slot and USB port. Furthermore, the television sets are "wireless ready" (802.11a/b/g/n) and can be integrated in wireless home networks using a Toshiba USB dongle which is available optionally.

When first switched on, the AutoView function of the television automatically matches image settings such as brightness, contrast ratio, gamma correction, sharpness and colour saturation to environmental conditions. An integrated ambient light sensor permanently monitors lighting in the room correcting individual parameters, if necessary.
The models of the SL733 series are available in stores at prices of 999,00 Euros (32SL733), 1,099,00 Euros (40SL733) and 1,599,00 Euros (46SL733) in April.
