Thanks to Hamas latest product introduction, wall brackets for flat panel televisions will see the light: The equipment specialist based in the Bavarian Monheim equipped its four new wall brackets LED-backlight which is independent from the TV set. Providing VESA compatible mounting devices, the mounts are made for the installation of TVs with screen diagonals ranging from 25 and 165 centimetres.


Who affirms Philips's Ambilight principle, but remains loyal to another brand, now is easily able to create himself a backlighting which is completely autonomous from the screen content. Being offered in two different sizes, two out of the four mounting kits are fixed, the others can be swivelled. The smaller versions are intended for the use with televisions with a diagonal of 25 to 94 centimetres, whereas the larger ones support panels ranging from 94 to 165 centimetres

Apart from the on and off-mode, the LED-backlight can be operated in several setting options. For example, it is possible to have one of a total of seven colours shine steadily, or – as with an colour organ – have it respond on sounds. The recommended retail price for the little, fixed TV wall mount set Mini is 69,99 Euros, whereas the versatile Small version costs 119,00 Euros. Medium, the larger, fixed mounting kit is available at a price of 139 Euros and the Large package containing the swivel-type mount and LED tubes is offered for 179 Euros.
