Expanding Sharps Aquos portfolio in the large-format segment, the new LC-60LE635E boasts a screen size of 152 centimetres (60 inches). Besides the size attribute of this TV model, the manufacturer puts much emphasis on comprehensive networking capabilities and a high energy efficiency.

The UV2A panel of the Sharp giant offers Full HD and an Edge LED backlight. The frame rate is 100 hertz. Due to a triple-tuner for DVB-T/C/S/S2 has a great variety of reception options. A program guide, however, is offered only through an EPG, HbbTV is not aboard the TV. While time shift should be possible using external USB devices, specifications answer the question for a recording function in the negative.

Playing photos, videos (including DivX / HD) and music from USB flash drives - or, alternatively, from the home network – via the integrated media player, however, works easily. Upon the Sharp Aquos Net+ platform, the 60-inch model can make use of apps such as the VOD service Viewster. Furthermore, user can access the internet via LAN and WiFi.

Along with four HDMI inputs in version 1.4, the interface panel assembles various analogue jacks, such as component and composite video and VGA. Additionally, there are analogue and digital audio inputs. Equipped with CI+ interface and SD-card slot for pay-TV subscriptions and video-store loans, respectively, the LC-60LE635E as of now can be acquired for 1799 Euros.
