The body shape is inspired by the design of Chorus family and is based on a rectilinear frame with powerful integrated speakers. In terms of colour selection, the taste of customers is at the forefront: Metz offers twelve different colour combinations. Aficionados of darker shades will appreciate the platinum black, titanium black and champagne black versions.

For bright living environments, Metz offers versions in white, silver, platinum and titanium silver. Customers who want to configure their Chorus S TV to match the furniture, have the choice between the wood tones teak black, mahogany black, walnut black, cherry black, light oak and wenge black.

In terms of technical configuration, there a two options of the Chorus S. The basic configuration, Chorus S LED 100 Z, features an LED BLU, 100-hertz refresh rate and a triple tuner for DVB-T/-C/-S. Thither comes the mecaSound+ sound system; the EPG-controlled recording function to USB memory can be implemented via software update in December 2011.

The top version of the Chorus S LED 200 Media twin R features the networking solution 'Metz Media System'. As an interface between TV and multimedia files on your home network, this new media player also uses HbbTV offers from TV channels. While watching the live programme of one channel, another broadcast can be recorded to the internal 500-GB hard disk via the second triple tuner.

The RRP for the Chorus S TVs, now available, is:
