Atec AL190N

Hi.
This is my first thread in here. Been surfing the forum for quite a while now though.
After reading up on things i´ve decided that my new/first ever TFT has to have S-IPS because of the 24bit and 16,77m colors.

I´m to choose between either the Iiyama E481S-B or the Atec AL190N - i definately prefer the design of the Atec;-.) BUT my question is, can anyone in here verify that the Atec is actually using a S-IPS panel? cause in the monitor vergleich in here it says S-IPS but on the hp of Atec it says 8bit and 16,22m!!!
Which one is true? please let this one be a good S-IPS;-)

Atec changed the panel. They use a TN panel now.

So you are best with the 481.

argh that´s incredible how they can do that to me well then i´ll have a extra look at the Iiyama again, ´cause the price of Iiyama is really good and the only problem i have with it is the built in speakers at the bottom whic in my opinnion destroys the design.
Must admit the design of the screen has a rather big importance also due to the WAF factor.

I´ll be using the monitor for let´s say 50% netsurfing, 20% office/programs, 10% dvd and 20% FPS gaming.

I have been looking at Xerox XA7-19i (because of the design) and same price as both the Atec and Iiyama. Also been looking at NEC 1960/80NX series with S-IPS and LaCie Photon19vision with S-IPS but those and Dell 2001FP and 2005FPW is almost 250euro more than the Iiyama!

I guess i´ll look around a bit more before i decide because there is no where i can get the E481S-B here in Denmark, but i would be no problem ordering it from Germany or UK. But then i can´t see it in real life.
