that the "thru mode" reduces input lag when it is actived, but you did not tested the value with a crt. How much is input lag with the thru mode on? Is a feature for gamers? Does it works only with a HDMI pc's connection? And does it involves a reduction of quality image when the thru mode is actived? Someone says that the hd2442w in europe is the hd2452w sold in japan as a monitor for gamers, can i use the hd2452w also for a middle level gaming with the thru mode on?
