Sorry for beating a dead horse, but I have been back and forth, back and forth for months and months now. I need a new monitor, and im at a complet loss as to what I should be looking for. Samsung LCD seems to be very popular here in norway, but I see less about them here on this forums
I use my computer mostly for plain old surfing, a few hours of WoW or WAR every now and then, and maybe as much as 30mins flying on my RC helicoper sim. I use my computer ALOT really, and I think it's about time to replace my trusted Viewsonic VX912. Anyways, first question is, should I aim for 24" or 26"? I sitt only half a meter or so from the screen, and im slighly worried im just to close for the screen to comfortably use a 26" screen. Any opinions on that?
Fare as monitors goes, I have been looking at a Samsung LCD Syncmaster 2693HM, 26" with a fair price. The 24" Samsung T240 or Syncmaster 2443BW is around 2/3 of the price here, and seems to offer alot for the money really. Are they superior in image quality compared to the 2693, or are they much the same jusy 2" less?
I know this is inferior TN panel quality, but im not sure if I really need anything better. The 26" samsung is about as much money as im willing to spend on this, and anything should be a huge upgrade from my Viewsonic I guess? So, could any kind soul please help me with some advice on what to buy?
