I was wondering what software you use for testing monitors? If I've understood it correctly you use the X-Rite i1Pro spectrophotometer, but the standard i1Match software does not feature the tests you perform in your reviews.
What software do you use for testing monitors with the X-Rite i1Pro spectrophotometer

We have developed our own software because a simple profile validation offered by any calibration software wouldn't be sufficient.

That isn't what I suspected... I have the DataColor Spyder 3 Elite myself, with the upgrade to the version 4 software.
The version 4 software features some testing functionality:
- Display uniformity measurement
- Delta E color deviation for white and 50% grey
- Gray scale tracking measurement
- Whitepoint measurement
- Measurement of the x and y coordinates in CIE 1931 xyY color chramacity diagram for the red, green and blue extremities
- Contrast measurement
- Gamme curve measurementI'm thinking of buying an i1Pro, however I do not want to lose the testing functionality, but the i1Match does not feature that functionality. The DataColor software does not support the i1Pro as measurement device as far as I know. Do you know any commercially available software that features at least the same testing functionality and supports the i1Pro as measurement device?

The UDACT (UGRA test) performs quite extensive tests (including measurement of the UGRA/fogra media wedge under consideration of the display profile).
It is also bundled with iColor Display (which I would also recommend as calibration/ profilation software in combination with the EOP) but can only be used directly after a calibration/ profilation here. The standalone version has of course no limitations.
Apart from an ICC workflow there are products for TV/ Beamer calibration but they all have some pitfalls.
