Please have other review about Samsung 193p o similar?

    i would like to buy this monitor in these days but i would like to hnow about it.
    I ought to use it for graphic,animation,films,web surfing,and some games.
    It's good for it,or i must buy other?

    games for me arent very important.
    dvd,films,graphics,animation,web... are my priority.
    I'like to spend about 800/900 euro or more (but if find an financial pay)
    I'm living in Italia,so not all tft are disponibles.
    I'd like an 19" if possible.
    Ps how is 193p from Samsung? i have read a review here and dont seem bad for my use,or not?

    The problem about the Samsung panel is a small yellow touch sometimes, so for grafic-pros it´s only 2nd choice.


    What do you think about the Fujitsu-siemens s19? Seems to me perfect for your work. Alternative: NEC 1980sx.

    Fujitsu-siemens s19 is 25ms,while Samsung is 20ms.
    Also contrast is less.perhaps the Iiyama 481, NEC 1960sxi Or Eizo 797
    are better,but ...id like to hnow more about them.

    well, i am in process of buying a lcd monitor, but don't know which one to get. my first choice was 191t+, but now samsung released new model 193p. my main goals are to cover 3 areas, word processing, internet surfing, and gaming (Soccer, Operation Flashpoint, American's Army, Max Payne etc.) I heared that PVA monitors like 193P create image ghosting in game, so my other choice is IPS LCD, NEC 1996NXi. and what i really would like to know is the difference (visually) between a good PVA monitor like 193p and a IPS monitor. And is it worth choosing one over another.


    ! Any other (better) LCDs sugestions are welcome !

    your informations are right: a PVA panel is quit bad for games, better choose one with an IPS panel, like the NEC 1960i. There is only one 19" IPS panel on the market which is used in the 1960i, Iiyama 481, Fujitsu Siemens P19-1A. The differences between those are quit small. None of those devices is a mistake to buy.
    You can go after the outward appearances between the three devices.
