I recently purchased a 2209WA after reading the review on this site. My monitor is Rev A01. I have calibrated with a Spyder2Pro with 75% contrast, 10% brightness, 6500K color temp, 2.2 gamma and get a luminance value of 140 cd/m^2. The problem is I can't seem to get the black point below .42 which gives me a contrast ratio of 338:1. I noticed in Prad's review that a black point of .15 was achieved. Is it possible I have a defective monitor or is my higher black point due to the use of an inexpensive Spyder2? Any help would be appreciated.
