Hi!
I have a Dell 2709WFP which is about 3 years old. I also very recently (last week) bought an extra Dell 2410 monitor. Now previously I had an Lacie 20 PhotonVison II.
I tried calibrating these monitors with a Spider 3 Elite but to no success. The Lacie's color space was very limited. It only went as far as the sRGB color space and it was very blue'ish to my eyes.
I thought i could fix these problems with a new monitor, also Dell as I presumed these colors would be almost the same. Not true as it seems. The Dell 2410 colors also seems very blue to me.
Of course again I tried the Spider 3 Elite. There is an available option called Studio Match which should match different monitors as closely as possible, though it seems it cannot do it.
Am I doing something wrong? Is the Spider just not a good enough calibrator?
Could it be i just got used to the 2709 monitors colors or have the monitors colors deminished to much over the years?
I just can't get them to match whatever I do.
Any suggestions?
Regards,
René
