Hi
I have the monitor AOC i2353Ph and it only support 60Hz at native
resolution 1920x1080 and because I have bad red eye strain I tried to
create a higher refresh rate
so I went to nVidia control panel and create a custom refresh rate and
after some testing only with 70Hz (progressive) I as able to see a
picture 75Hz or above was displaying blank screen.
I want to ask if using that refresh rate is dangerous also I did not
change the timing I leave it at auto. I notice also the picture colors
now is more sharper with strong colors at 70Hz than before !!
I also emailed the AOC company and they told me using refresh rate of 70hz is fine and there will be no heat problem since this model using external
power adapter.
