Hi, I'm looking for a fast 19" TFT.
It will be primarely used for: surfing, fast fps playing (like Q3 etc) and watching movies.
The biggest problem is that I'm very sensitive to: flicker, ghosting, non-sharp image , too low fps, etc. I think this came because I played too much Wolfenstein3D years ago
At the slightest bit of flicker I get a headache, the same thing happens with slow TFT's as I experienced in a local cybercafe where I got a headache within 5min of surfing on their cheap TFT's wich had incredibly ghosting while scrolling in Internet Explorer.
From looking at the forums the "Iiyama E481s" with it's fast IPS pannel looks intresting.
But the Samsung 913N with it's 8ms looks even more suited I "think" since it's faster (if you would compare the 25ms of the Iiyama with a 16ms TN). Although I have read here that the colors aren't so good (only 6bit) and that it isn't so well suited for watching movies (twinkely color effect in movies as Hardware.fr puts it).
The Benq FP937S+ might also be an option too since it's also 8ms.
By the way is the english version of wich have translated versions of the monitor reviews.
At the moment I'm really leaning towards the Samsung because of it's fast responce time.
Will the 8ms of the TN pannels be fast enough to not get any ghosting in fps or fast scrolling?
