Hi all!
After reading review of ViewSonic VX2435wm, I bought it..
I have some questions now:
1) How did you run Motorstorm and Resistanse at 1080p? PS3 menu shows it, but game only 720p. Game looks not so good..
2) What interface did you used to connect PS3? I'm using HDMI and pucture is cutten at all sides by 1,5sm.. It can be clearly seen in WebBrowser and Virtua Fighter 5. Maybe I need to connect via component?

OK, is anybody know how to update EDID on this monitor? It is write-protected.

It is write-protected.On many monitors EDID writing will be enabled at specific positions in the OSD setup menu, often requiring certain key combinations to be pressed - the manufacturer should be able to tell you how to get there. (To my knowledge, a registered version of PowerStrip is the only currently available tool to reprogram (E-)EDIDs, and the vendors of monitors with faulty EDIDs could save themselves and their customers a lot of hassles for things like returns, shipping and technician's time by licensing this code from its very helpful authors.)
Other than that, there are two options:

A pull-up resistor would have to be soldered to the write-enable pin of the (E-)EDID EEPROM inside the monitor (typically involves cutting its connection to ground, and will have to be done on a tiny SMD IC).

An EDID Inserter could be used, i.e. a special DVI/HDMI lead/adaptor containing a programmable EEPROM which takes the place of the (incorrectly programmed or inaccessible) one inside the display, without requiring any soldering or similar measures that might void the monitor's warranty.
I have built and successfully tested two prototypes for this over the past few weeks and would encourage anyone in the business of manufacturing video cables or connectors to contact me for details. This approach is also an excellent workaround to simulate display presence to multiple computers on a KVM switch (Keyboard-Video-Mouse, e.g. in an administrator's workplace), which would otherwise disable their digital outputs (at reboot at the latest).
