I am thinking of picking up the Dell 2405 and i see that it is is a PVA. Now i know that S-IPS are the best for DVD's but I was wondering if you had any thoughts on this particular monitor.

Why don't you get the Dell 2005FPW? S-IPS Panel and it also goes for $480 every now and then if you keep a watch for deals.. check out I have the L90D+ but when i picked it up i didn't know the difference between S-IPS and TN Panels.
