Dont go for widescreen if it's gonna be a 19 inch monitor. 19 inch widescreens are currently all using TN panels only.

just 2 models of them is sold in our country now... and they are very expensive for me...

so i think i must go for 17"

widescreen is not important... but you can suggest a widescreen of course...

Hi everyone..

I decided to buy a LCD monitor nowadays...

And the monitor which i'd like to buy is 16.2m color..

LG L1970HR

The monitor is very good i think but the 16.2m color is frustrating me...

the monitors specs are,
2ms
1600:1 contrast
dvi-d

Questions i wanna ask are,

1- how could thar monitor is 1600:1 contrast? the other brands and model are always 500 or 600 for the maximum.. i mean is it a real contrast ratio?

2- is being 16.2m color a problem? what is the difference between 16.2 and 16.7m color?

3- what is waiting for me in 16.2m color and 16.7m color?
