    Hello Testuo!
    It's me again.
Finally I purchased the Belinea 102035W monitor. It arrived from France in just 24 hours (amazing!).

So, I'd like to make a couple of statements.

Needs LOT of calibration, to gain good image quality.
After this, the colours are magnificent.
The black levels are just good.
In a dark room, it's very easy to distinguish some backligh bleeding. But only on a completely black image.
Overall I think it's a very good monitor.

    ....and a couple of questions.
    1) Unfortunatelly, it has 2 stuck (white pixels). The first can be seen only in a black+blue background, and the second can be seen only in black background. Are these stuck pixels? Are "stuck pixel repair programs" a myth, or they can bring back to life a stuck pixel?

    2) In some big and uniform images with same colorm I can clearly distinguish vertical stripes (like waves. The same happens with color gradients. I can see where the color changes. The color change is not homogeneous.
Is it the monitor, or the grafic card? (I use a 4 years old AGP nVidia card (GeForxe2 MX/MX400) with RGB connection)

    Thank you for your patience.

I recognize your big help, and have to admit that in these 4-5 short dialogs we had, I've obtained much more knowledge and information than in the greek forums for over 2 months. Based on your recommendations, I'll stick-around the following VX2025wm, 102035W and S20-1W.
In case you are a future motorcycle buyer, or allready an owner, feel free to ask me anything. I'm a motorcycle journalist, and editor in the bigest motorcycle magazine in Greece. I'll give my best to help you.

So, lets say we admit that from that 5 monitors only S20-1W does not use ovedrive technology.

Is that anyway a pros+ or a con- for the fujitsu monitor?

Can we still call it a M-PVA panel, since "overdrive" substitutes by its self the term M-PVA?

Dear friend, thank you again for your answers. You've realy opened my eyes!

However, I'd like to show you something I've noticed.
[quote]It is a P-MVA (P for Premium) panel, an advanced version of the MVA technology, manufactured by AU Optronics. This is combined with Overdrive technology, resulting in great responsiveness.

So, look what I've found for the S20-1W in the prad.de review:

"The response times of the AUO-built P-MVA panel "M201EW01 V0" is declared 16 ms for black/white shifts and 8 ms for grey-to-grey shifts. What's quite astonishing in this, is the fact that the monitor does not make use of any kind of Overdrive technology. This has been explicitly confirmed to us by Fujitsu Siemens. Therefore, the AUO P-MVA panel is currently one of the fastest VA panels available on the market."

You can chech this in the following address:

Very confusing, dont you think? I'd be interested to hear your opinion.

I this is real, ti does make the difference between S20-1W and the following monitors with AU Optronic panel "M201EW01" with Overdrive, you have mentioned me. (Belinea 102035W, ViewSonic VX2025wm, ASUS PW201, Acer AL2051Ws)

I've also checked for the NEC 20WGX2, and the S-IPS panel seems to pay-off, but just in color reproduction, viewing angles, games, AND not in movies. The street price here in Greece exceeds 580 euros.

I go for sure for the AUO panel "M201EW01". But the fujitsu "overdrive" statement confused me at all.

Thank you for your attention. Could you please also explain me something else? Since S20-1W is an MVA panel (as also the 102035), how on earth is it possible to be so called as an "ideal" monitor for gamers? It's writen in the "BUYER'S GUIDE: GAMER" inside prad.de! It is well known that MVA panels have the worst response time of all the panels. I'm considered about this Fujitsu monitor... And one more reason is the good value/money ratio (greek online shop - 298euros - no transportation fee). But actually, money, and differences between 50 to 100 euros, isnt my first concern, especially for a monitor, because i believe that monitors are the most valuable components in a pc. So my question is, should i look for an IPS monitor istead? Will the MVA S20-1W be good enough for gaming? I've also heard that it is an old monitor, tha tends to be "classic". Is it true?

    Hello prad.de!

I’d like to know the specifications of the Fujitsu-Siemens S20-1W. I’ve been confused, because I have found many different specifications, in your site, by mistake I supose.

So, is it a TN or a MVA panel?

Could you also inform me about the LG L204WT monitor? Instead it is a TN panel, there has been a very big fuss with this monitor here in Greece. And LG has gone out of stock! Does it actually deserves such a big attention? Is it good enough? Can it be compared with the S120-1W?

And finally, what do you think of Belinea 10 20 35W? Where are these monitors from? Is their quality ok? I’d like also to inform you that in Greece all of these monitors have the same price.

Is there anything else I should know?

My demands of my future monitor, include all the possible operations that a monitor could have. But mostly prefer to be fast enough!

Thank you very much, in advance.
