Hi guys,
This might be a tough one. I am looking for a good LCD with the following constraints:
1) 19" to 22" size (the bigger the better of course)
2) 1680x1050 is best, 1280x1024 ok, 1440x900 not good
3) usage evenly distributed between office, games, movies and photo editing
4) a price hard-limit of <US$500
If it wasn't for the photo requirement, I would gladly go with a TN 22". But after reading so much about the TN x VA x IPS issues, I would really like to find an IPS panel in that range. I appreciate to see uniform colors, and all of them. The question is: does such a monitor exist today?
The price limit does make it difficult, but my problem is that I live in Brazil, and this is the value limit for importing such goods (from the US). And there is no way you can find any piece of such decent equipment on stores here.
I thank you for any hints you may give on this quest.
PS: I am mostly concerned with the panel quality. Overall looks, flexibility of the stand, input options, are all secondary to me.
