  • Scaling, judder-free and deinterlacing

    HI, i need an 1920x1200 IPS monitor which does not stretch at 1080i video signals, that can do the 1080i deinterlacing and judder free.
    I found HP LP2475w only it does not specify at all regarding scaling, judder-free or deinterlacing like it is done for ASUS PA246Q:
    "only progressive material should be played back on the monitor"
    "HD (720p) - only pixel precise"
    "we tested the judder-free playback of signals between 24 Hz and 60 Hz"?! - here it's no conclusion done whether does it convert all to 60 Hz or is it or ain't judder free.
    So, i can't realize if there's one that worth for me, or there is another one i don't know. Can you help me, thanks.

    HI, do you know how to easily test whether a certain STB gives to the monitor which is linked 1080i or 1080p?
    Using a 1080i -> 1080p converter, is this a good idea to enter to a monitor? It seems most of them don't like interlaced.
    I need to assure i have 1080p.

  • Backlight Lamps

    What can you say about UV emanation to a TCO99 tft monitor like this, by example, Fujitsu Siemens 5110FA

    I read somewhere that tft monitors use mercury Backlight Lamps that are also used for UV generators (air purifiers, eprom erasure, etc).
    I don't know how accurate this mine read information is, i'd like your opinions too.
