Ok, doesn't matter. Finally, I have found in the 3M website this hidden but very pedagogic explanation of both LCD displays and these fillters:

I think really recommended for beguinners.

I didn't know 3M also has these filters. I will try with the 3M Vikuiti ARMR200:

anyway, if somebody has some experiences with these filters it will be nice reading his impressions,

    thx,

    Hi,

I have a VAIO latpop. Reviews mentions Vaio screen are wonderful for games and video, however I have quite headaches when working some hours with text applications.

I have found in the market the anti-glare silicon films to convert LCD glossy to matte. Some are of 0.2mm while others 0.5 (here some tech explanations about this technology: )

Please, somebody to give an opinion with enough expert level on this apparent cheap and efficient solution. ¿Can be an enough equivalent of the manofactured matte LCD's?

    Some examples installation:

    thanks in advance,

I bought a Samsung 2043BW because his pivot function. My daily work is with text processor.

Text processing in portrait mode is simply impossible. There is an strong backlight 3D-effect in his right side. The effect is so strong that becomes impossible to work in minimal conditions without a serious headache.

Is there some way to solve this?

Also, I want to make a suggestion to Prad.de regarding reviews. In example, in the review of Acer B223W there is a comment about this effect:

Like all Hold-Type models with a static backlight, the Acer B223W also demonstrates slight motion blur, but this is not critical.

It would be really helpful to know the limits of your "critical" review. It seems the photograph shows a similar effect in the right side as happens with my Samsung 2043BW:

in these conditions, working with text becomes impossible. Or maybe not, regarding the comment of "this is not critical".

So, it would be really helpful if you can write some comments about this effect in pivot function for text processors. In example, I want to know if there is some LCD not PVA oferring enough quality for this task, and until now I cannot find any comment inside reviews.

    thanks
